Change in Management as of 1 January 2020
How time flies!
In November 1980 MAHRENHOLTZ + PARTNER Ingenieurgesellschaft was founded by the then director of the Institute of Mechanics at the University of Hannover, Prof. Dr. Dr. E. h. mult. Dr. h. c. mult. Oskar Mahrenholtz, and his employees Dr.-Ing. Burkhard Grabowski and Dr.-Ing. Walter Klie in Hannover, Germany. Initially, the focus was on consulting and calculation tasks in machine dynamics and structural strength. In the following years activities shifted increasingly to measurement and process data processing.
In 1992 m+p international Mess- und Rechnertechnik GmbH and m+p international, inc., Verona/NJ, were founded for the worldwide marketing of the m+p VibControl vibration control system, which was developed from 1989 onwards and is now a key product of the company. Further subsidiaries in Great Britain, France and China followed. In 2000 m+p international and MAHRENHOLTZ + PARTNER Ingenieurgesellschaft merged to form the new m+p international Mess- und Rechnertechnik GmbH.
Since 2017 INDUS Holding AG, one of the leading investment companies for medium-sized companies, has held a majority stake in m+p international; until then, the founders and active employees were the sole shareholders. Today, our activities focus on vibration testing, vibration analysis, measurement and process data acquisition and test stand engineering. With our foreign subsidiaries and representatives, we are represented directly on site in over 30 countries worldwide.
After almost 40 years, I ended my position as Managing Director on 31 December 2019 and left the company. On 1 January 2020 Mrs. Elke Baessler took over the management of m+p international Mess- und Rechnertechnik GmbH.
I extend my sincere thanks to all clients, business partners and employees for the pleasant cooperation, the trust and also the exciting challenges. I look forward to the further development of our company with confidence and wish my successor Mrs. Baessler and the employees all the best and much success.
Dr.-Ing. Walter Klie
