Wind Turbine Gearbox Testing
The gearbox of a wind turbine is often regarded as the weak link and requires especially thorough testing. Doosan Corporation Mottroll in South Korea chose m+p international's SO Analyzer to determine vibration and acoustical characteristics as well as verifying that the torques and temperatures are within specifications. The flexibility of SO Analyzer is used to perform multiple measurements on the wind turbine gearbox at different operating powers.
